JEE Main February 2022 : Application Correction

Details which can be corrected during JEE Main Application Form Correction 2022

Candidates must note that not all details are made open for correction. They will be allowed to make corrections only in certain fields during JEE Main application correction 2022.

Details which can be corrected are as follows

1. Personal Details: Candidates will be able to change their personal details in case of spelling mistakes.

2. Academic Details: Information regarding the academic details of the candidates will be open for editing.

3. Change of Paper: Candidates will be allowed to change their choice of paper from Paper 1 to Paper 2 (and vice versa). Both papers can also be selected for which the candidates have to pay the balance fee.

4. Language of Examination: The language medium of the examination will also be allowed to be changed by the candidates from within the list of available options

5. Name, State of Eligibility and Date of Birth: These details will also be open for correction during the allotted time period.

6. Category: The provision of changing categories selected by candidates in application form will also be provided to the candidates. If the candidates changed their category from general to reserved, then no refund of fees was done. However, if the candidates change their category from reserved to general, then they have to pay the balance fee.

Important Point Regarding JEE Main Application Form Correction 2022

Candidates must note the following few important points regarding JEE Main application form 2022.

1. Candidates providing incorrect/inappropriate information in their JEE Main application form 2022 will be rejected/will not be considered for admission.

2. JEE Main 2022 application form correction facility will be available only once. Candidates have to make corrections within the provided time

3. Not all details are made open for modification during JEE Main application form correction. Details about information which can be modified is made available in brochure.

4. Certain correction also requires to pay fees which like change in category from SC/ST to Gen/OBC-NCL
